Photo Quality Check v.1.1 was a complete interface redesign and compatibility update for integration with Apple's new iOS 7 operating system. The original interface was reimagined to fit seamlessly with the new iOS flat design paradigm. The iconography was redesigned and the overall UI was brought up to date with the new transparencies and clean design principles. This redesigned interface earned recognition from Behance curators in the website's "App Design" section.
Even the previous typographic app logo displayed on the app's home screen was updated from the original version that can still be seen here, which was inspired by the bold modern typographic choices for their cover logos that can be seen in mainstream photography magazines to this day.
Still relying on some technical implementation workarounds due to Apple's initial restrictions on code resources for third-party application developers, the inclusion of the newly introduced background blur effect brought an interesting new sense of depth to the redesigned interface, as can be seen in these settings and information screens.

The 1.1 update had a dual interface implementation. Users still on iOS 5 or 6 would see the original interface, and when they updated their phones to iOS 7, the interface would automatically switch to the new flat design interface.
