Hi again. Like I said, my name is Romeu.
I'm a Portuguese visual and interaction designer based in Augsburg, Germany, with more than two decades of creative journey through the evolving landscape of digital design. My career started in print and branding, even before I graduated in visual design in the mid-nineties. Over the last decade, I've found my passion at the intersection of visual aesthetics and user experience. Most recently, I led product design at an IT startup, where I transformed complex B2B software concepts into intuitive interfaces that solved real problems for users.
Finding the perfect balance between creativity, usability and business value is what drives me. I'm particularly drawn to projects where I can combine my established visual design strengths with my growing expertise in user research and experience design.
Outside of work, I'm a keen street photographer, capturing the world with both a traditional camera and, increasingly, my iPhone. My travels are often opportunities to collect visually interesting patterns and textures that inspire my design thinking. This passion for visual exploration keeps my creative perspective fresh and informs my approach to design challenges.
